Virtual Events

April 27, 2023

2020 has been a year of change affecting us all globally. We are now in an era driven by virtual interactions and events. Terms such as LiveStream have taken over the online space. What has that meant for our couples planning their wedding, or corporations planning their Galas and Awards Ceremonies?

We have a few ideas that will help you to execute your virtual wedding or event!

First let’s take a look at the state of the current event space.

With the social distancing and gathering size restrictions, it’s certainly the time to get creative with your planning. Outdoor weddings may take the cake next summer for a number of reasons.

  1. More flexibility as far as guests in attendance.
  2. Option to have live musicians (Limited band size/instruments).
  3. Slightly less restrictive distancing guidelines to adhere to.

Galas and Awards Shows

To the surprise of many, the technology to execute these major corporate events remotely is here and has been for some time. With virtual stages and live streaming from various locations, you can still have all of the elements that your guests expect and deserve (from the comfort of their homes).

  1. Hosts and Master of Ceremonies well presented on screen from the stage and on a podium.
  2. Dinner/Catered meals delivered to participants' home address.
  3. Live entertainment live streamed from the band stage during “cocktail hour”.

In Car Concerts

Now this is going brand new to most of us and has not quite made its way to Canada yet, but we are equipping ourselves to have full outdoor concert experiences to be enjoyed from the safety of your car and allotted private “dancing” space per car load. The rules will restrict the number of attendees per car and limit dancing/listening outside to your assigned area (per car), but this gives us a lot of hope that live music can be back full swing just on time for spring festivals.
